Board of Directors and Management Staff

The Board of Directors is the policy making body of the Cooperative. To be eligible to serve on the Board, each director must be a member of Sumter EMC. Members elect directors on a rotation basis to serve 3-year terms. Elections are held each year at the Annual Meeting. Each member has one vote, and all members are encouraged to attend.

The Board meets on the last Tuesday of each month at Sumter EMC headquarters in Americus, Georgia.
